Each workshop will do a deep dive into its subject and provide time to complete practical work related to that topic.

The Marketing Hourglass Evolved with John Jantsch

The Marketing Hourglass Evolved with John Jantsch

 

What is it?

In this workshop, John will give a high-level review of the power of The Marketing Hourglass framework. Participants who use this tool currently can expect to learn additional strategies, tips, and techniques for building a complete hourglass as well as new ways to think about applying it to things like product launches and hiring campaigns.

In addition, John will reveal a next layer of integration called the Customer Success Track. This innovation and associated tools and processes is an advance look into this process which will appear in John’s next book The Ultimate Marketing Engine due out in the fall of 2021.

During this interactive workshop, you will discover the fundamental building blocks to crafting an effective customer producing lead generation funnel that you can implement in your agency the next week to help you finish 2020 strong and make 2021 your year!

Reporting and Tracking for Local Clients with Team Sturges

 

What is it?

We will walk through and help you create a complete reporting and tracking system for your local clients. It will include the key integrations and methods that make data flow between Google My Business, CallRail, Bright Local, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and review platforms.

CallRail:
We focus on CallRail for local as it provides verifiable tracking for the vast majority of local leads including calls from the GMB, as well as website generated calls and form submissions in one place. These are tracked as goals in Google Analytics where we can apply a value to each and then flow that data into the Bright Local dashboard.

Bright Local:
We will also walk you through setting up Bright Local including rank tracking and the client dashboard. In rank tracking, we will walk through using keyword groups intelligently to track hub pages or simply keyword groups. We will also walk you through how to efficiently track your target keywords in various cities and create a roll-up report to bring it all together. Bright Local is an accurate and affordable local rank tracking tool, so it is a great place to analyze and make decisions on what needs to happen next in your campaigns.

Google:
We will integrate Analytics with goals, Ads, and the GMB as well as cover how we use the GMB App and search console reports in addition to the paid dashboards.

Local Viking:
We will show you how to use local Viking to track GMB rankings across specific target geographies which is not possible in other the tools. This is not required but really nice to have for many reasons and they are now a DTM partner as well. Local Viking can be used for many other local marketing tasks and can make your life much easier in managing GMB’s.

When complete, you will have a fully operational tracking system for one local client and the processes and documentation to repeat these processes internally.

 

Who Is This For?

This workshop will most directly benefit consultants with local clients that use the DTM Partners CallRail and Bright Local as well as Local Viking (not required).

If you also use other reporting systems like Agency Analytics, WhatAGraph.com or others, the integrated data from CallRail, Analytics, GMB and Ads can be leveraged and used there as well.

 

Prerequisites

To get the most from this workshop have these systems active with your logins ready.

Suggested: LastPass account with Chrome extension active in your browser and all your accounts in there ready to rock.

All systems below should have at least one active and consistent account set up in each so we can connect everything. It can be your own business or a client.

  • CallRail account one active account
  • Bright Local account one active account with a location under that client ready to roll with data

 

Google Accounts:

  • Google Analytics one active account
  • Google Adwords one active account
  • GMB one active and verified account live on Google
  • Google Search Console
  • Google My Business App installed

 

Optional:

  • LocalViking.com (with the GMB added)
  • Review Platform one active account

 

Goals For Training

We will literally walk you through and help you create a complete reporting and tracking system for your local clients. We will walk through with one specific client (you or a client) and it will work at the end. You will also get the documents and processes to repeat this internally for other clients going forward.

The process will include the key integrations and methods that make data flow between Google My Business, CallRail, Bright Local, Google Analytics with goals including values if desired, Google Ads, and review platforms. We might have time to look at the Facebook integration as well. We will go pretty deep into CallRail integrations to track all common sources of leads for local businesses as well as the quirky process for creating robust actionable reports in Bright Local, especially in local rank tracking but also in creating a live white label dashboard for your clients to view at any time.

What is it?

Tom Shipley is beginning his fourth year with the DTM network. When he started, he had been an independent consultant for over 5 years and had two clients receiving on-going services for a set monthly fee and a hodgepodge of project-based clients who would come and go.

Today, Cole-Dalton Marketing Services (CDMS) has close to 20 clients all on monthly service retainers and a 90% annual retention rate. The firm has two full-time project managers and uses several DTM partners to fulfill their client services.

This workshop will provide an overview of how we fulfill client services, the tools we use, and the tasks we execute on a monthly basis.

 

Who Is This For?

Consultants with three or more clients to serve who are looking to scale up and serve more.

 

Prerequisites

  • Completion of the DTM Consultant Training and Certification.
  • Participants should also have 3 or more clients under some form of a monthly retainer.

 

Goals For Training

Provide a blueprint for how to service multiple clients on an on-going basis as efficiently as possible.
